Mantir (b. 1953) joined the Art Therapy Open Studio in September 2019. Mantir enjoys art making and is often open to new experiences and new mediums. Mantir is always keen to attend studio sessions and works in a self-directed manner.

I learned this song in Primary school. If only I could return to school now... to be able to study and read will make me very happy.
Watermelon Seeds

I am reminded of watermelon seeds, lemon seeds, yellow pie, green pie and rambutan seeds. The blue reminds me of the sea. I imagine a fish jumping into the water. I have never seen the sea before in my life and hope to see it in person one day. Yellow is my favourite colour. The colour red on the other hand, makes me think of the red Tikka that married woman wear on their forehead.
I am happy with my painting, “Boleh!” I can do it very well!
